June, July and August schedules

| Class at Angelfire Studio |
Though I've enjoyed nearly two decades of teaching an array of fiber arts at guilds, conferences, shops, art centers and campuses
nationwide, these past few years of confining myself to feltmaking and beadwork have been most satisfying.

Having studied, explored and taught traditional, if not universal, techniques, provides solid footing for venturing off on
my own adventures. Adventures such as pairing my two favored mediums, and sharing these adventures in my book, HAND FELTED
JEWLERY AND BEADS: 25 ARTFUL DESIGNS.
Benefiting by the experience of teaching hundreds of beading classes and wishing to reach more beaders than can fit in a classroom,
I wrote MASTERING BEADWORK: A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE TO OFF-LOOM TECHNIQUES.
Inspired by Barbara Albright's knitting books, compilations of projects by several designers and, seeking to feature the artful
and elegant side of feltmaking, drove me to write HOW WE FELT: DESIGNS AND TECHNIQUES FROM CONTEMPORARY FELT ARTISTS, also
Interweave Press, and published in October 2007.
Now that the books are done,; I have the luxury of time. Time to felt and bead and, of course, teach. Australia and Japan
are recent additions to my international teaching schedule. I continue to teach regularly scheduled bead classes locally.
Wherever and whenever we meet, I look forward to beading and felting with you.
Until then,
warm regards,
Carol
